Tim Chuey Weather

It’s Monday and that means it’s time for my weekly weather quiz question. This week’s question shouldn’t be too hard. What name is given precipitation that falls from a cloud, but evaporates before it reaches the ground? It is seen as dark streaks coming out of the cloud. Please post your answer as a comment after these forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

An upper level low is moving closer from the West (see the blue arrows moving in a counterclockwise direction). A frontal system is bringing back the rain as it moves through Oregon. High pressure will return about mid week or so to dry us a bit, as we will be between storm systems, but it won’t last long as another frontal system will move through the Pacific Northwest Friday and Saturday.
