Tim Chuey Weather

It’s time again for my weekly weather quiz question. This week’s question shouldn’t be too hard. What name is given precipitation that falls from a cloud, but evaporates before it reaches the ground? It is seen as dark streaks coming out of the cloud. Please post your answer as a comment after these forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

An upper level low is moving slowly to the East (see the blue arrows moving in a counterclockwise direction). It’s now South of us. A frontal system has moved through Oregon and there have been some showers on the backside of the front. There is another storm developing offshore, but high pressure will return later today and tonight to dry us a bit, as we will be between storm systems but it won’t last long as the next frontal system will move through the Pacific Northwest between Friday night and Saturday.
