The high pressure (shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is moving to the east allowing storms to return to the Pacific Northwest as an upper trough of low pressure (shaded “U” shape) moves in along the coast. Watch out for slippery roadways early this AM due to fog freezing on the surface of the road through today. A frontal system is headed our way to return the chance of rain to Oregon. Another frontal system will be moving into the Pacific Northwest late Thursday into Friday bringing more rain with it by late at night.
