Today is your last chance to answer my weekly weather quiz question. This week’s question shouldn’t be too hard. What name is given precipitation that falls from a cloud, but evaporates before it reaches the ground? It is seen as dark streaks coming out of the cloud. Please post your answer as a comment after these forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
______________
An upper level low is moving slowly to the South (see the blue arrows moving in a counterclockwise direction). The high pressure ridge that is offshore (see how the blue arrows form an arch) will be bringing us dry and warmer weather again. A weak front will be falling apart, but could give us a sprinkle or two tonight and Saturday AM. The next storm system will move in Monday night and Tuesday.
