Another upper level high pressure ridge (the shaded “Arch” shape) is sitting just off shore and will dry us out for a while, sort of. There will be some weak disturbances that will sneak in giving us a slight chance of some light rain or drizzle. This ridge is termed as a “dirty” high pressure ridge because it allows storms to slide through unlike the standard ridge which blocks out any storms from coming through.
