Congratulations to Jacquie Beveridge you are the first person to post the correct answer to this week’s weekly weather quiz question. Please go to the “contact” tab on my website home page and let me know when and how you want to spend your week of free weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Here is question for the last time. What is “meteoric water”? Here is Jacquie’s correct answer “Meteoric water is water that comes from precipitation.” I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting next Monday. Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

Another upper level high pressure ridge (the shaded “Arch” shape) remains centered just off shore. The ridge will move eastward over us today bringing sunshine and drying today, but Presidents’ Day will see the return of the rain as a trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) will move in along the coast.  Another frontal system, in a series of many, will slide toward us Friday increasing the rain chances.
