Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is an “Omega High?” Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) and a frontal system will slide through with the warm front moving through today increasing the rain chances. With subtropical moisture moving in we have warmed up a bit too. A ridge of high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape) will bring a little bit of sunshine between the showers over the weekend. Another frontal system will move in Saturday (position shown is Sunday) continuing the chance of rain.
