Here is this week’s weather quiz question. What is the best tornado detector? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

A trough of low pressure (shaded area that’s “U” shaped touching the coast)  is pumping cool moist air in behind the frontal system that passed through on Monday. The upper trough will slowly migrate to the east over us keeping the chance for wet weather and cooler temperatures with us for a while. High pressure will build in late in the week. So far, it looks like another nice weekend ahead. We can hope.
