It’s Monday and that means a new weekly weather quiz question. Here is this week’s question. What is the difference between “weather” and “Climate?” Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape) will keep the rain away for one more day, meaning today. A frontal system (shown way offshore) will push in Tuesday removing our sunshine and replacing it with clouds and rain.  An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) is moving in to replace the ridge of high pressure. A frontal system looks like it will be dropping down on us next Monday potentially bringing cold Canadian air with it.
