An upper level high pressure ridge (shaded “Arch” shape) has been dominating our weather pattern. We’ll have more warmer than normal temperatures as temps rise to around 80 again today and Friday. An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape) will move up to the Oregon coast shifting the airflow from the southwest just in time for Mother’s Day. The next cold front that will effect Oregon will increase the chance for rain Sunday .

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
