An upper level high pressure ridge (shaded “Arch” shape) that has been dominating our weather pattern will move away from us slowly. An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape) has moved up to the Oregon coast shifting the airflow from the southwest increasing our chances for rain for a while. Another cold front should be approaching the Oregon coast by Saturday.
