_______________
A trough of low pressure has been over us (the shaded “U” ) and it has kept us cooler than normal and a bit wet. The high pressure ridge behind it (shaded “arch” shape ) and a surface high will give us sunshine and dry weather for a few days. Another upper level low will approach for the weekend bringing back the chance of rain by the middle of the weekend as a weak disturbance slides into California Sunday. The upper level low pressure trough and a new frontal system Monday will bring back the cooler than normal and and damp weather for off and on unsettled conditions next week.
