Upper level high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) cleared us out for a while returning the sunshine. An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape) has taken over and pushed a frontal system through the Pacific Northwest bringing rain and dropping temperatures drastically Monday. This unsettled weather will continue for the rest of the week as the low rotates over and then past us. It looks like there will be just a slight chance of showers for the long Memorial Day Holiday weekend. A complex frontal system will be approaching the West Coast Tuesday.
