_______________
A trough of low pressure is south of us (the shaded “U” ) and it has kept us cooler than normal and a bit wet. The high pressure ridge north of it ( “arch” shape in blue arrows) and a surface high will give us some sunshine and dry weather for a while longer. Another upper level low will approach us bringing back the chance of rain as a weak disturbance ( just off the California coast) slides into California Sunday. The upper level low pressure trough and a new frontal system early in the week will bring back the cooler than normal and and damp weather for off and on unsettled conditions next week.
