An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape, more like a donut), called a closed low because it is cut off from the upper air circulation, has rotated away from us. A frontal system is pushing into Oregon today, Memorial Day. Temperatures will still be below seasonal normal so it will feel the coldest near or on the water, sorry about that. A frontal system will be approaching the West Coast Wednesday. An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape dropping down through Southern California) will keep us in clouds with a chance of precipitation for the next few days.
