Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. A frontal system has pushed through Oregon and now another one is moving through the Pacific Northwest today. An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape dropping down through Southern California) will keep us in clouds with a chance of precipitation through Thursday. We’ll be drying out late in the week as an upper air high pressure ridge (growing shaded “Arch” shape) builds in protecting us from any storms. So far, it looks like a partly cloudy and pleasant day Saturday for the Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field.
