Here is my weekly weather quiz question. Today is your last chance to win this week. What is a “wall cloud?” Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. We’ll be drying out as an upper air high pressure ridge (growing shaded “Arch” shape) builds in protecting us from any storms. It looks like a partly cloudy and pleasant day Saturday for the Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field. A frontal system will bring us some clouds Saturday night and Sunday AM with a slight chance of drizzle at the coast, but the rest of will stay dry. Next week is looking dry, bright, and warmer.
