Here is my weather quiz question for this week. What is the “Green Sky” effect? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
_______________
A trough of low pressure (the shaded “U” ) is moving to the south into California and a surface frontal system is moving southeastward with it and will decrease our chances for getting wet. High pressure coming out of the Gulf of Alaska will dry us out and warm us up for the middle of the week. Another frontal system will be pushing into the Pacific Northwest toward the end of the weekend and next Monday which will bring back the chance for rain.
