An upper air high pressure ridge (shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is taking over as our weather maker. This week is looking dry, bright, and quite a bit warmer as the high pressure keeps any serous storms away. There is a cold front has pushed through with most of its energy going to the north over the ridge into Canada. Another frontal system will push inland with most of its energy again mainly to our north Sunday, but again it looks weak and will fall apart so we’ll only see at most a few clouds but no precipitation from it. Also an upper level trough of low pressure (shaded “U” shape following the ridge) will move in sitting offshore Sunday into Monday.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
