An upper level trough of low pressure (shaded “U” shape following the ridge) will continue moving through today. We could see some scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. A weak upper level high (Flat “Arch” shape in blue arrows) will clear us up and dry us out a bit for the weekend as another low (“U” shape) moves in off the Washington and Oregon coasts.
