Here is my weather quiz question for this week. Since I have had web access issues this week  I will give you an extra day (Saturday) to  come up with the correct answer. What is the “Green Sky” effect? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

_______________

A high pressure ridge coming out of the Gulf of Alaska  (the “arch” formed by the blue arrows offshore aimed at Canada) is drying us out and warming  us up with temperatures getting about 10 degrees above average for the interior valleys.  A frontal system will be pushing into the Pacific Northwest between Sunday and Monday bringing back the chance for rain by Monday. And another in a series of weak storm systems will move through after that one.
