An upper level low (“U” shape) has crossed the coast and is moving through Oregon continuing the clouds and the chance of rain.  A short-lived area of high pressure will dry us out Friday and Saturday, but the chance of rain returns by Sunday. A frontal system will be pushing into the Pacific Northwest late over the weekend increasing our chances for rain. Summer officially begins with the Summer Solstice at 10:04 AM PDT Friday. Next week we’ll see a frontal system move in by midweek.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
