An upper level low pressure trough (Shaded “U” shape) is just offshore and will hold there for another day or so. A ridge of high pressure has been controlling our weather and low pressure will move in off the coast. For the 4th of July it looks like the upper level low will stay to our northwest over the Pacific Ocean and move just a little closer while high pressure that has been stuck from the Great Basin to us will waken just a it. That should keep the sunny and very warm conditions with us through July 3rd and as the high weakens enough or pushes just a bit to the east we will see the low start to take over a bit returning some clouds and cooling us a bit by Thursday the 4th. The high temperatures will cool enough to notice the difference for the 4th of July Holiday.

**Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
