Advisories:
A Blue-Green Algae warning has been lifted for Dexter Reservoir, but continues for Dorena Reservoir, and Fern Ridge Reservoir, Walterville Pond, and farther away at Devils Lake. Water monitoring has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae that can produce toxins, state public health officials said. The algae levels are likely associated with dangerous cyanotoxin concentrations in the water that can be harmful to humans and animals. Swallowing or inhaling water droplets, as well as skin contact with water, should be avoided according to the authorities.

An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) has moved in along the coast and will keep us wet through the middle of the week. One frontal system has already moved past us and another one is on pushing through continuing our rainy weather. Another pair of frontal systems will bring more waves of rain by the end of the week into next weekend.
