Advisories:

A Blue-Green Algae warning has been lifted for Dorena Reservoir and Dexter Reservoir,  but continues for Fern Ridge Reservoir, Walterville Pond, and farther away at Devils Lake. Water monitoring has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae that can produce toxins, state public health officials said. The algae levels are likely associated with dangerous cyanotoxin concentrations in the water that can be harmful to humans and animals. Swallowing or inhaling water droplets, as well as skin contact with water, should be avoided according to the authorities.

An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) is moving slowly eastward over the Pacific Northwest and kept us wet. High pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape) will take over today bringing back the sunshine for a very short while. An upper level low will move in to return the wet weather by late Friday. A frontal system will bring more waves of rain next week.
