Here is my weekly weather quiz question. You have only one more day to win. What was the earliest recorded meteor shower that resulted in human deaths? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

_______________

An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” area with blue arrows curving from the coast into California and Nevada) is going to keep  Oregon  under a wet and colder than normal weather pattern.  A frontal system has moved  through and another wave is coming behind it continuing the rainy weather. That low pressure trough will stay in place for the rest of the week sending storm systems our way. If it moves far enough Eastward as the computer models indicate most of the weekend could be dry as high pressure develops. Another frontal system will be approaching Oregon and it looks like it could give us at least a small chance of rain as it falls apart on the Memorial Day Holiday itself if another upper level low moves in fast enough to replace the weak high. Since Memorial Day will be mostly cloudy be prepared for at least a slight (20%) chance of sprinkles no matter where you will be in Western Oregon.
