_______________

An upper level trough of low pressure(Shaded “U” area with blue arrows curving from Nevada into Montana) has been moving Eastward as high pressure develops behind it (see the blue arrows that form an “arch” connecting the two shaded areas) bringing us sunshine and warmer temperatures for a change. Anotherfrontal system (seen now offshore) will be approaching Oregon and it looks like it could give us at least a small chance of rain as it falls apart moving through Sunday night and on the Memorial Day Holiday itself. Since Memorial Day will be mostly cloudy be prepared for at least a slight (20%) chance of sprinkles no matter where you will be in Western Oregon. Yet another frontal system will be upon us for Wednesday.
