Thursday was cooler than normal with a high of only 73 in Eugene. Today will be an improvement as we go back to above normal getting to about 84. A new Cold Front will move through on Saturday dropping us back into the low 70s for highs. That sounds like Fall weather and as you know Autumn begins at 2:19 PM Tuesday. But no, like a rubber band, the temperatures will spring up to the low 80s Sunday, the low 90s Monday and Tuesday and then cooling to the low to mid 80s  by Thursday. It’s rare, but we have had this same pattern occur in the past this late in the season. Remember, we had a winner in my weekly quiz already so the new one will start next Monday.
