This week will be , for the early part at least,  hot. Autumn begins at 2:19 PM Tuesday, but it won’t feel like it. Today will be sunny & very warm with a high of 92, the record is 95, but 75 is average for the date. Tuesday for the Autumnal Equinox it will be sunny & hot with a high of 95. Wednesday will “cool down” to 91. It will still be warmer than normal Thursday cooling even more down to 80. A peek at next weekend looks like sunshine with highs 80-85. All of this heat will be due to a High Pressure Ridge that will keep the offshore airflow over Western Oregon.
