An upper level high pressure ridge ( Shaded “arch” shape) is moving eastward to be followed by a strong upper level low pressure trough (Shaded “U” shape). A frontal system pushed into Oregon increasing our rain chances. More storms will follow with the strongest part of the frontal system coming through Oregon on Saturday bringing even more rain and also strong rains. Here is another frontal system that will hit us on Wednesday, but it doesn’t look very impressive. Any precipitation we see will be light.
