An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape) will be moving away from us as a high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape) will move toward the coast. Our airflow is coming from the north-northwest bringing an upper level low disturbance, much colder air, and the chance for some snow flurries. A frontal system will be headed into the Pacific northwest Saturday increasing the chance for rain and snow.
