An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape) is positioned perfectly to keep the storm going. Our airflow is coming from the north-northwest bringing much colder air and the chance for more snow. A frontal system is producing more precipitation and with the cold temperatures we will see more ice forming. Another low will move through Saturday keeping the messy weather around for another day. The snow may look pretty now, but it is still dangerous out there.
