The Jet Stream airflow (Shaded area with blue arrows) moving from southwest to northeast is called the “Pineapple Express” because it is warm moist air coming from Hawaii. A frontal system has moved through spreading warmer air our way increasing our temperatures and melting away the ice and snow. Another frontal system will move into the Pacific Northwest between Saturday and Sunday followed by more frontal systems next week.
