The Jet Stream airflow (Shaded area with blue arrows) moving from southwest to northeast is called the “Pineapple Express” because it is warm moist air coming from Hawaii. A frontal system has moved through spreading more rain and warm air over Oregon. Another frontal system will move into the Pacific Northwest  Saturday bringing even more rain followed by another frontal system next week.
