A high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is offshore cleared the skies for a shorter amount of time than I expected. The rain returned, at least at my house, around 2:30 PM on Sunday. A frontal system is hanging across the Pacific Northwest and will push northward to dry us out Tuesday. It looks like another frontal system will bring us better chances of rain again by Wednesday.
