A trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is off the California coast funneling warm moist air up from Hawaii, you remember the “Pineapple Express.” A front is moving in from the northwest, but slowly. That’s why we had sunshine today. Yet another frontal system will be moving in from the west Sunday.
