A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped section of shaded area from over the Pacific Ocean down the Pacific coast) will be taking over and clearing the skies, warming the temperatures, and keeping the rain away for a quite a while.  A weak frontal system will slide down the ridge from the Northwest (upper left corner of screen) between Sunday and Monday, but all it will do is cool us down a bit and then we’ll warm up and still be dry for the rest of the week. It’s about time.
