No winner this week. Here is my weekly weather quiz question again. Define the term “ Water Table.” Here is the correct answer. The Water Table is the level below the earth’s surface at which the ground becomes saturated with water. The water table is set where hydrostatic pressure equals atmospheric pressure. I’ll have another weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

A high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape) has moved into Oregon and will clear out the clouds, for a while anyway. A frontal system, warm front first then cold front Sunday, will move into Oregon returning the chance of showers. Spring is right around the corner. The vernal equinox occurs at 9:57 AM next Thursday March 20th.
