It’s Monday, so it’s time for my weekly weather quiz question. Here goes. What common name do we have for an electrostatic discharge that is accompanied by the emission of visible light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to their needs. Good luck.
_______________
An upper level trough of low pressure (shaded “U” shape moving into Oregon will give us at least a small chance of rain over the next 24-36 hours. Then we will go back to sunny and warmer weather as we approach the weekend and Father’s Day. Summer officially begins a week from today on June 21st at 4:28 AM Pacific Daylight Time. Look like it will actually look and feel like summer is getting underway.
