No winner this time. Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. Define “Zero Datum.”  Here is the correct answer. Zero Datum: In hydrologic terms, a reference “zero” elevation for a stream or river gage. This “zero” can be referenced (usually within ten feet of the bottom of the channel) to mean sea level, or to any other recognized datum. I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

More than one Upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape) will push into the pacific Northwest keeping it in clouds with showers. A frontal system will be pushed eastward by the low bringing the chance of showers back again for your Monday. The rest of the week is looking wet too.
