Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What common name do we have for an electrostatic discharge that is accompanied by the emission of visible light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to their needs. Good luck.

Then we will go back to more sun and warmer weather as we approach Father’s Day. Summer officially begins on Monday June 21st at 4:28 AM Pacific Daylight Time. Looks like it will actually look and feel like summer is getting underway.
