Tim Chuey Weather

We have a winner. Congratulations to Dan Kelly for being the first person to post the correct answer. Here is my weekly weather quiz question one more time. What common name do we have for an electrostatic discharge that is accompanied by the emission of visible light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation? Dan’s answer was “lightning”.  I’ll have another weekly weather question for you starting next Monday. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized forecasts tailored to their needs.

_______________

An upper level trough of low pressure has been keeping at least a chance of showers in the area. An upper level low will slide down  the coast from Vancouver, B.C. keeping that chance with us for a while. That high pressure we expected to clear us out and warm us up just isn’t happening right now. Sunday is Father’s Day and Summer officially begins on Monday June 21st at 4:28 AM Pacific Daylight Time. What about the Summer weather?
