A blocking High Pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is going to move away from us and an upper level low (Shaded “U” shape). Our next chance for showers won’t be until Saturday when a frontal system (position shown is Sunday AM) will approach the Pacific Northwest. It looks like there will be a chance for some showers Saturday and Sunday in Florence for the Rhododendron Festival this weekend.
