Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon? Please post your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to their needs. Good luck.

_______________

An upper level low (watch the yellow “U” shaped line) is moving out and weak high pressure will move in for  24 to 36 hours, but another area of low pressure will move back toward the end of the week. Summer is finally here. What about the Summer weather? It looks like we’ll get a taste of it for the next day or two, then by Saturday a cold front will drop down from the northwest doing not much more than cool us a bit.

_______________

Advisories:  NONE AT THIS TIME.
