An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) will be moving toward us increasing the  onshore flow, pushing in a frontal system, and increasing the chance for showers. Today we could see much more moisture available as the low draws on the very wet air over the Pacific Ocean. A frontal system (position shown is Saturday) will approach Oregon between Friday and Saturday increasing the chance for more significant rainfall.
