Here again is my weekly weather quiz question. What is the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon? Please post your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to their needs. Good luck.
_______________
The jet stream will be sending waves of alternating weak high pressure and low pressure over the rest of the week into the weekend. The result will be a continuation of the unsettled weather pattern that will be a roller coaster from clouds with a slight chance of sprinkles or drizzle to more sun and dry and back again. Look at the surface maps and you’ll see high pressure at the surface and a weak surface wave over the Pacific will bring just the chance of sprinkles.
