Tim Chuey Weather

We have a winner. Here again is my weekly weather quiz question. What is the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon? Congratulations to Stephen Temple. You are the winner of my weekly weather quiz. Your answer was perfect. There is no real difference between a hurricane and a typhoon other that the location where they are formed. I’ll have a new weather quiz ready for you next Monday. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to their needs.

_______________

The jet stream will be sending waves of alternating weak high pressure and low pressure over the rest of the week into the weekend. The result will be a continuation of the unsettled weather pattern that will be a roller coaster from some clouds with a slight chance of drizzle to more sun and dry and back again. A frontal system will move through late Sunday into Monday morning bringing in some more clouds and cooler temperatures by Tuesday.
