An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is moving from west to east through Washington and keeps the chance of mountain thunderstorms alive. Another low is sitting off the coast of California (“U” shape with blue arrows) and it will move to the north and east by the second half of the weekend increasing the chances for another round of mountain thunderstorms.
