Such a great day Saturday in Eugene I thought I’d share a couple of pictures i took with my iphone at Alton Baker Park. The first one is the waterfall as the water returns to the Willamette River. (The water level has pretty much gone back to near normal since it has stopped raining.

More normal flow into the river

The waterfowl were enjoying the pleasant day too.

Ducks and geese alike swam and walked around in the sun

A weak high pressure ridge (The “Arch” shape in  the jet stream) is the reason why Sunday will be warmer with lots of sunshine. An upper level trough of low pressure (the area shaped like the letter “U”)  will follow the ridge resulting in more clouds and cooler temperatures again early in the week.
