An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is moving to the east giving us a short break from the showers as weak high pressure (shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) tries to take over. Another low will follow closely behind increasing onshore airflow bringing more clouds and increased chances for rain.
